Cookie Policy & Preference Management

Last updated: 2025-09-24

This Cookie Policy explains how Twilight Commercial Cleaning LLC ("we", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on this site. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies & Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device that enable core functionality, performance measurement, and optional marketing insights. Related technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags used for analytics or advertising attribution.

2. Why We Use Them

  • Operate the site: Maintain security, load balancing, session or preference status.
  • Improve performance: Understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., page flows, load timings).
  • Enhance user experience: Remember prior consent or dismissals (e.g., cookie banner).
  • Measure marketing effectiveness: Recognize return visits and ad interaction (Facebook Pixel).

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

  • Essential / Strictly Necessary: Required for core operation (security, basic functionality, consent storage). These cannot be disabled via our preference tools.
  • Performance & Analytics: Help us understand site usage (Google Analytics, Netlify Analytics) to improve structure and content.
  • Marketing / Remarketing: Facebook (Meta) Pixel tracks page views and certain events to measure and optimize ad campaigns.
  • Functional (Occasional): May store your cookie preference state or form interaction (e.g., HubSpot form behavior scripts).

4. Specific Tools

  • HubSpot: Loads form scripts and may set cookies for form performance, submission tracking, and preventing duplicate submissions.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): Aggregated usage metrics (page views, navigation paths, device categories). We do not use GA to identify individual users.
  • Netlify Analytics: Provides aggregate performance and traffic metrics server-side (no client-based identifier cookies created by us for this analytics).
  • Facebook (Meta) Pixel: Helps measure ad reach and optimize remarketing audiences. See Facebook Ad Preferences for opt-out options.
  • Cloudinary: Serves optimized media; does not intentionally set tracking cookies for our use.

5. Consent & Loading Behavior

Non-essential categories (analytics & marketing) are loaded only after affirmative consent via our cookie banner. If you do not consent, those scripts either do not load or operate in limited mode.

6. Managing Preferences

You can revise your choices at any time by selecting the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer (or reopening the banner if available). You may also clear existing cookies/storage through your browser settings to reset state.

Browser Controls: Modern browsers allow blocking or deleting cookies (see help documentation of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

7. Third-Party Opt-Out Resources

8. Retention & Expiration

Your cookie consent preference is stored for up to 6 months (or earlier if you clear storage) after which we may re-prompt. Individual third-party cookie durations vary; refer to provider documentation for exact lifetimes.

9. Do Not Track (DNT)

Browsers may send a DNT signal; our site does not currently alter behavior based on DNT headers. You can still use the tools above to manage tracking.

10. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this page to reflect technology, legal, or operational changes. The "Last updated" date indicates the most recent revision. Material changes may be highlighted or re‑prompt consent if required.
